Edinburgh: Scotland's capital city

	Edinburgh Edinburgh is well known as a festival city. Possibly best known for the Edinburgh International Festival which this year runs from 10th August to 2nd September. Don't forget the Bank of Scotland Fireworks concert at 9.00pm on Sunday 2nd September in Princes Street Gardens. The 2007 Edinburgh Fringe Festival starts on 5th August and runs until 27th August. This year's Edinburgh Book Festival runs from 11th to 27th August. The 61st Edinburgh Film Festival is from 15th to 26th August. From 3rd to 25th August 2007 the historic Edinburgh Castle will be home to the Edinburgh Military Tattoo. Details of festival events can be found at the Edinburgh Festivals website.
